Harvest ATC

I printed of the picture from My Craft Studio Create a Picture cd then took some corn and stuck it along the bottom and up the side.

Autumn leaf card

A swap for October.

I used a rust coloured card blank, embossed rust coloured co ordination card and then sanded it back to show up the leaf pattern. Wrap some cotton tape round it and stuck it onto the card blank then I tucked a yellow skeleton leaf under the tape.

Fairy Card

A card I made for a swap the theme was Fairies.

Busy Year

Haven't had much time to craft this year as we had a baby Granddaughter born in Feb and her Mum has now gone back to work also have been busy renovating my Mum's old house ready to sell.
Youngest Son has now started at University studying to be an ODP. He has his work placement at Bambury  Hospital for 6 weeks. Seems really strange not having him here any more but look forward to the weekends when he can get back here. Looking forward to the 2 weeks at Christmas.

Book Mark Card

This is a book mark card. I folded a piece of card in half and then put a piece of organza ribbon right round the card and tied it closed, on top of that I added an Art Deco lady topper then I made a book mark from another topper, I threaded some small beads onto some invisable thread and attached it to the book mark which was then tucked under the ribbon. On the ribbon I put a peel off that says Someone Special.

Iris Folding

An Iris folding card. After I had filled in the oval I added rippled a piece of card then cut out a vase shape then added paper flowers and leaves. I edged it all with a green and silver ripple peel off.

Easle Card

An easle card I have made for a swap on A Crafters Heaven.

I used flowers soft on the trees and flowers which brought the scene to life.
The picture and frame came from My Craft Sudio Make a Scene cd.

Vintage Ladies ATC's

I print the ladies from Joanna Sheen ATC cd I used a gold peel off and a peach rose to match the colour of the roses in the ladies hat.
For the second one I used paper lace and a pink paper flower again to match the flowers in the ladies hat.

Torn Paper Topers x 2

Anther 2 scrap paper toppers this time I added round die cuts and on top of them I put foam flowers, in the middle of the white flower I put a gem.

Torn paper toppers

2 toppers I made for a  swap on A Crafters Heaven an Ebay group.

I torn up lots of scrap paper then glued them onto a piece of black card.
On the first one I used a skeleton leaf, a feather and a flower on the second one I put a topper of a bird on top and a small round bird topper then I went round the bird topper with a thin gold peel off.
Just one way to use up any scrap paper that is too small for any thing but too good to throw away.

Bogged Down

Getting really fed up with buying this bungalow we seem to take one step forward and two back am wondering if we will ever get it. With trying to sort out all the paperwork that keeps arriving my crafting has had to take a back seat. Have a few swaps that need to be done for my group A Crafters Heaven so must find time and get them done and posted.

 I used Joanna Sheen ATC cd for the rose and typed in the message then added 3 green gems.
This was made for a swap on A Crafters Heaven which is an Ebay group.

Busy Time

Well it looks like we may have bought my Mum her bungalow at last after lots of weeks worrying if we would get a mortgage or not due to our age or should I say my husbands.
It will be a lot better for all of us as Mum is infirm now so can't manage the stairs very well, she is also nearly bind and I do worry that she might fall down the stairs. The bungalow is just over the road from us so it will mean I can go over and see her every day.
Went down hers yesterday and boy has she a lot of stuff to get packed into boxes so think it is going to take a really long time to sort through it all.

Wedding Vow renewal card

A card I made for a dear friend who is renewing her marriage vows.
Sadly her husband hasn't long to live so found it really hard to find the right words to put inside the card but did manage in the end. 
I am sure the day will be a lovely memory for her to treasure amongst the sadness.

Uncle Adam and Amelia

My son Adam with my beautiful Grand daughter Amelia, think Uncle Adam looks happier than Amelia. She is now 9 weeks old.

2 easter cards I have made using Crafters Companion Paintbox Poppets.
The top one has felt flowers added and the bottom one has paper lace down the side.

Baby Congratulation Card

This is the card I made for my son and daughter in law on the birth of their baby girl Emelia Poppy.
The baby is decoupage and the lace is paper, I also added a silk rose.
